Horse name availability

In order for a horse to be eligible to race under rules they must be registered with a unique name. This is to distinguish each horse from others in a race and allows bloodlines and pedigrees to be more easily traced.

Racehorse Owners Association

The Racehorse Owners Association exists to promote and protect the interests of racehorse owners, making ownership more enjoyable and rewarding for every owner racing their horse in Britain.
