TATTERSALLS GUINEAS BREEZE UP & HIT SALE: ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW

The Tattersalls Guineas Sale, which includes a select sale of Horses in Training preceding the catalogue of breeze up two-year-olds, will be the finale of the breeze up sale season in Britain.

The sale will be followed by the Newmarket Guineas Festival (5th May - 7th May) where the first Classics of the British racing calendar, the 1000 Guineas and 2000 Guineas, will take place on the Rowley Mile Racecourse. Adding to the excitement surrounding the week, the Coronation of King Charles III will precede the 2000 Guineas on Saturday 6th May.

Guineas Breeze Up & Horses in Training Sale

The Guineas HIT Sale represents a strong export market. BODHICITTA, LAMMAS and MISTER SEA WOLF who sold at the Guineas HIT Sale went on to win at Group level in Australia and the USA.

The Guineas Breeze Up Sale has been the source of 24 Group/Grade winners, which include Gr.1 winners at major British racing festivals including Royal Ascot, the Goodwood Festival, the York Ebor Festival and QIPCO British Champions Day. Sale graduates SHANTISARA, THE PLATINUM QUEEN & TRUESHAN have been successful at Gr.1 level since 2021.

On a global scale, graduates of the Guineas Breeze Up Sale have been successful in Stakes races in nine countries over the past decade. The 2023 renewal has attracted progeny by AUSTRALIA (GB), NATHANIEL, NO NAY NEVER, OASIS DREAM (GB), SEA THE MOON, SHOWCASING (GB) & ZOUSTAR.

If you are unable to travel over in person for the Guineas Sale, taking part from overseas has never been easier.

The sale will all be streamed live online on the Tattersalls website, Facebook page and YouTube channel.

If you wish to partake in the sales online and have not yet registered as a buyer, you should complete your application here. You must complete your application at least 48 hours prior to the start of the sale. Note: if you have already applied for Tattersalls Live Internet Bidding for any sale so far, you do not need to redo the application for the Tattersalls Guineas Sale.

Once you have registered you will receive an email from noreply@xcira.com which will contain your unique Tattersalls Internet Bidding username. Please make a careful note of this username.
