TATTERSALLS DECEMBER MARE SALE: ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW
After a busy December Yearling Sale and December Foal Sale, the focus at Tattersalls turns to the December Mare Sale this week.
Below you will find all the information you may need to snap up the best quality fillies and broodmares at the world-leading breeding stock sale.
December Mare Sale
Commencing at 9.30am (GMT)
Monday 4th December - Thursday 7th December
The final sale at Park Paddocks in 2023 will be the world-renowned December Mare Sale.
In 2023, over 91 winners of 118 Group races in 13 countries were out of mares sold at the Tattersalls December Mare Sale, including 22 winners of 30 Group 1 races.
The Sceptre Sessions, which attracted global interest last year, will take place again this year featuring the highest quality race fillies and broodmares to be offered for sale.
The sessions include Group 1 winners CACHET, LEZOO (GB), POPTRONIC (GB), PROSPEROUS VOYAGE, VIA SISTINA, and TEONA who is in foal to FRANKEL (GB). The mares of Group 1 winners ANISETTE (GB), BARNEY ROY (GB), ESHAADA (GB) and VIA SISTINA are also featured.
The Sceptre Sessions will take place on Monday 4th and Tuesday 5th December.

The sales will all be streamed live online on the Tattersalls website, Facebook page and YouTube channel.
If you wish to partake in the sales online and have not yet registered as a buyer, you should complete your application here. You must complete your application at least 48 hours prior to the start of the sale. Note: if you have already applied for Tattersalls Live Internet Bidding for any sale so far, you do not need to redo the application for the Tattersalls December sales.
