GBRI LAUNCHES VIDEO SERIES TO DRIVE INTERNATIONAL OWNERSHIP IN BRITAIN
Great British Racing International (GBRI) has today (Monday) launched the first episode of a new video series titled ‘Be A Part Of It: Owning In Britain’.
The five-part series, which aims to drive future international investment into British racing, will showcase the various aspects that make owning a horse in training in Britain a uniquely enjoyable experience.
In the first episode, renowned Newmarket trainer Sir Mark Prescott reflects on the history and heritage that underpins the British racing experience.
The series will also shine a light on the exceptional training environment that thoroughbreds enjoy across the country; the quality of facilities available in Britain; the experience of spending a morning with your trainer at the yard and on the gallops; and the quintessentially British raceday experience.
Episodes will run weekly on Mondays, with the final instalment launching on the eve of Britain’s first yearling sale of 2022, the Goffs UK Premier Yearling Sale (23rd-24th August).
The series is being backed by the National Trainers’ Federation, whose Chief Executive, Paul Johnson, said on Monday:
“This video series is an excellent initiative by GBRI on behalf of British trainers, as it showcases all the elements that we do so very well in Britain – the heritage, the facilities, the training environment, the behind-the-scenes experience and the raceday experience. Exhibiting each of these elements to prospective international investors can only be a positive for the industry.”
