DONCASTER PREMIER YEARLING SALE: ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW

Goffs will kickstart the British yearling sale season with the Doncaster Premier Yearling Sale, taking place on Tuesday 29th & Wednesday 30th August, beginning at 10am BST on both days.

The Doncaster Premier Yearling Sale has been a source of multiple top-class winners globally in recent years. 21 individual Stakes winners across 8 countries in 2022 were offered at the sale.

In 2023 alone, the sale's roll of honour includes Gr.2 winner JASOUR (GB), UAE Gr.3 winner AL DASIM, Guineas trial winners ISAAC SHELBY (GB) & MAMMAS GIRL (GB) and Listed winner DEAR MY FRIEND (GB), who went on to race in The Derby. Plus, only two weeks ago, SACRED ANGEL scored at Gr.3 level on King George Day at Ascot Racecourse to become the latest Group winner bought at the sale.

All yearlings sold at the sale will be eligible for the 2024 running of the £500,000 Goffs Harry Beeby Premier Yearling Stakes during the Ebor Festival at York, which has been rebranded as Harry’s Half Million by Goffs.

Full or half siblings to Group winners and yearlings from the same family as multiple Gr.1 winners are featured in this year's renewal of the sale.

The catalogue also features first-crop yearlings by Gr.1 winning stallions including KAMEKO, MOHAATHER (GB), PINATUBO and WITHOUT PAROLE (GB).
