High Class Two-Year-Olds announced for Goffs London Sale

The upcoming Goffs London Sale, in association with QIPCO is set to offer an interesting selection of two-year-olds, several of which hold live chances in feature races at the Royal meeting.  In addition, the sale will include two colts that won their Barrier Trials yesterday at Naas.

The leading Royal Ascot entries include the Fozzy Stack-trained Mohican Heights.  This well related son of Australia really caught the eye when winning a competitive maiden at Leopardstown and is an attractive proposition for the Chesham Stakes.

Con Marnane’s Bansha Stables draft is headed by Real Appeal, a son of Sidestep, the exciting young sire of the Golden Slipper winner Kiamichi. His two wins from two starts include Listed Prix la Fleche at Maisons-Laffitte, which makes him a contender for the Norfolk Stakes.

Among other Ascot bound two-year-olds on offer will be David Evans’ winner Ivatheengine (Windsor Castle), Jamie Osborne’s Seraphanite (Albany) and the maiden American Lady, who caught the eye in a Group 3 last time out (Windsor Castle or Queen Mary).

For the first time, Goffs will offer a pair of two-year-old colts that won their barrier trials on Wednesday. They are Tinnahalla, a colt by Starspangledbanner from Shamrock Bloodstock, and Kindslayer, by Footstepsinthesand, from Leamore Horses. Both will be present at the Sale.

The three-year-old and older horse entries will be announced in the coming day and the full catalogue will be available online at from early next week.  As in previous years, a select number of wild card entries will also be considered until closer to the sale.
